PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy for anode material of an aluminum brine cell, high in current density even at ordinary temperature, maintaining the base status of anode potential even when continuing electrification, making an anode reaction proceed uniformly even under brine environment, less in self corrosion and low in raw material cost and manufacturing cost, and an aluminum brine cell having an anode containing the same.;SOLUTION: There are provided an aluminum alloy for anode material of an aluminum brine cell containing Si:0.0001 to 0.7000 mass% (hereafter, %), Fe:0.0001 to 0.7000%, Mg:0.05 to 2.00%, Sn:0.01 to 1.00%, Ga:0.005 to 1.000 mass% and the balance Al with inevitable impurities and having density of a Sn-based intermetallic compound particle having equivalent circle diameter of 0.2 μm or less existing in a matrix of 106/mm2 or more and a manufacturing method therefor, and an aluminum brine cell having an anode containing the aluminum alloy.;SELECTED DRAWING: None;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
