PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic corrosion factor detection unit and a metallic corrosion factor detection method that can increase the accuracy of detecting penetration of a metallic corrosion factor into concrete by a corrosion sensor.SOLUTION: A metallic corrosion factor detection unit 100, which detects penetration of a metallic corrosion factor into concrete, includes: a corrosion sensor 10, which is attached on an inner peripheral surface 2a of a hole 2 in a reinforced concrete structure 1 and detects a metallic corrosion factor; and a filling resin material 5, which is filled in the hole 2 to surround the attached corrosion sensor 10 and prevents the metallic corrosion factor from entering the corrosion sensor 10 from the outside of the reinforced concrete structure 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
