PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of automatically recording the body weight of a person who has experienced onset of cardiac failure or kidney failure, and notifying of warning when a possibility of failure recurrence increases.SOLUTION: A warning device for onset of cardiac failure or kidney failure includes: body weight receiving means for receiving the body weight periodically measured; body weight recording means for recording the body weight received by the body weight data receiving means; onset prediction body weight storage means for storing onset prediction body weight which is the body weight by which the onset of cardiac failure or kidney failure is predicted; onset possibility determination means for determining that the state is a warning state in which the possibility of the onset of cardiac failure or kidney failure is high when the body weight received by the body weight receiving means is equal to or more than the onset prediction body weight, and the body weight stored in the body weight storage means continuously increases for the latest predetermined period; and notification means for notifying when the onset possibility determination means determines that the state is a warning state.
