PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zirconia sintered body excellent in wear resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided a ZrO-YO-based zirconia sintered body satisfying the following requirements of (a) to (f). (a) 97 vol.% or more of a ZrOcrystal is tetragonal. (b) A molar ratio between [YO] and [ZrO] ([YO]/[ZrO]) is in the range of 2.3/97.7 to 3.5/96.5, (c) the ZrO-YO-based zirconia sintered body contains AlOof over 5 wt.% and 30 wt.% or less. (d) A weight ratio between SiOand AlO(SiO/AlO) is in the range of 0.5/99.5 to 5.0/95.0. (e) An average particle diameter is 0.3 to 0.7 μm. (f) A relative density is 95% or more.
