PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recognizing a pointing position due to finger pointing to a screen image.SOLUTION: A projector 51 projects pixel image data outputted by a notebook PC 10 as a screen image 401 to a screen surface 53a. The notebook PC 10 mounted with cameras 23a, 23b thereon is arranged at an arbitrary position with respect to the screen image 401, and photographs a presenter 61 but does not photograph the screen image. The notebook PC acquires global coordinates of a feature point from an image of a pointing gesture photographed by the cameras. First, reference coordinates corresponding to corners of the screen image are acquired. Next, arbitrary coordinates corresponding to an arbitrary pointing position of the screen image are acquired. Then, pixel coordinates corresponding to a relative position of the arbitrary coordinates to the reference coordinates are acquired. Next, the notebook PC recognizes the pixel coordinates to execute a prescribed action.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
