PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining tool for grafting, which can securely hold a joining part of a rootstock and a scion while effectively preventing the grafting part from being infected by a pathogenic bacteria and the peripheral surface of the grafted nursery tree from forming a knob-shaped projection, and to provide a nursery tree grafted by the joining tool for grafting.SOLUTION: In the present invention, it is configured that: the tool comprises a thin-walled cylindrical tube, whose one side face is cut out, in an unjoined state, in a longitudinal direction, to have 6-like shaped cross-sectional shape; slits S and S is formed at the intermediate part in the longitudinal direction of the tube, by making cuts in a circumferential direction; a rootstock holding part 10 comes into closely contact with an outer peripheral surface of a root stock, with both side edge parts 1A and 1B of its circumferential direction overlapping each other in a radial direction, by elastic restitutive force of diameter expansion; and a scion holding part 11 comes into closely contact with an outer peripheral surface of a scion, with both side edge parts 1A and 1B of its circumferential direction overlapping each other in the radial direction, by elastic restitutive force of diameter expansion.
