PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for conveying molten iron between a molten iron processing plant including two dephosphorization furnaces and a converter plant, by which production in the dephosphorization furnace is not disturbed by improving the conveying efficiency of the molten iron ladle even when the molten iron processing plant and the converter plant are present in plants of separate buildings, and by which the molten iron ladles can be conveyed efficiently while maintaining the productivity.SOLUTION: The method for conveying molten iron comprises: lifting an empty ladle mounted on a conveying truck stopped at a first departure and arrival station by a dephosphorization furnace molten iron tapping side crane; moving the conveying truck toward a second departure and arrival station after the dephosphorization furnace molten iron tapping side crane has lifted the empty ladle; moving the dephosphorization furnace molten iron tapping side crane having lifted the empty ladle toward a first receiving and delivering station from the first departure and arrival station; mounting the empty ladle to a first receiving truck of the first receiving and delivering station by the dephosphorization furnace molten iron tapping side crane after arrival of the dephosphorization furnace molten iron tapping side crane having lifted the empty ladle at the first receiving and delivering station; and moving the first molten iron receiving truck mounted with the empty ladle to the first molten iron tapping station from the first receiving and delivering station.
