PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure security of a note PC using a function expansion device, while reducing power consumption.SOLUTION: A note PC 100 and a wireless dock 200 mount a first wireless module and a third wireless module of large power consumption building a communication channel 327, respectively. Furthermore, a second wireless module and a fourth wireless module of small power consumption building a communication channel 329 are mounted. The first wireless module stops in isolated state. The note PC detects a proximity state for the wireless dock through the communication state of the second and fourth wireless modules. When the proximity state is entered and the note PC operates the first wireless module, the first and third wireless module establish connection. The communication channel 327 can be built seamless, and no image is displayed in an external display 303 until the proximity state is entered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
