PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel fumaric acid diisopropyl-cinnamic acid ester-bismaleimide copolymer resin which exhibits excellent tenacity when it is formed into a film, and has high molecular weight, and to provide an efficient production method thereof.SOLUTION: Provided is the fumaric acid diisopropyl-cinnamic acid ester-bismaleimide copolymer resin including a fumaric acid diisopropyl residue unit, a cinnamic acid ester residual unit having C1-C6 alkyl group, and a bismaleimide residual unit.
