PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method that can efficiently produce a TiOcomposite porous silica photocatalyst particle under the formation conditions of a short period of time and a low temperature and to provide the TiOcomposite silica photocatalyst particle.SOLUTION: The method for producing a TiOcomposite porous silica photocatalyst particle includes: a step of adding a triblock copolymer to a strongly acidic aqueous solution of mineral acid and dissolving the triblock copolymer in the solution; a step of adding a TiOsol having TiOnanoparticles dispersed in an organic solvent with use of an organic dispersant; a step of mixing with a water glass aqueous solution; a step of stirring the water glass mixed liquid under the temperature condition of 25-40°C for 1-6 hours to form a precursor particle; and a step of calcining the precursor particle separated from the water glass mixed liquid under the temperature condition of 400-1,000°C for 0.5-6 hours and removing the triblock copolymer from the precursor particle to form the TiOcomposite porous silica photocatalyst particle.
