Repairing agent for wet construction and repair method thereof

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repair agent for wet construction achieving high adhesive strength and compression strength in a wide range of temperature from room temperature to high temperature, and excellent in corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance and a repair method therefor.SOLUTION: A repair agent for wet construction contains a refractory aggregate consisting of 100 pts.wt. of a powdery component consisting of 15 to 45 mass% of silica having a particle diameter of 0.01 to 5.0 mm and 40 to 70 mass% of alumina having the particle diameter of 0.05 to 5.0 mm, a fluxing agent consisting of fine powdery frit of 2 to 7 mass% and a granular low melting point compound of 1 to 4 mass%, and alumina cement of 3 to 13 mass% and 10 to 25 pts.wt. of a liquid component consisting of silicate alkali solution. A repair method includes mixing the powdery component and the liquid component for the repair agent for the wet construction, applying the resulting repair agent for wet construction to a target refractory within one hour after initiation of mixing at room temperature to 100°C, and then drying and curing for about 1 to 1.5 hours.
