PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a conventional puzzle game lacks expandability as a puzzle game.SOLUTION: A puzzle output device comprises: a mount storage section that is able to store mount information for a rectangular puzzle, which is configured such that the rectangle has in it eight or more triangles formed by drawing at least oblique lines connecting the apexes of the rectangle, and vertical and horizontal lines parallel to the sides of the rectangle; a limit storage section that is able to store two pieces of limit information indicating two or more limits on collection of numbers arranged in each of eight or more triangles; a problem mount composing part configured to compose problem mount information that provides a problem to be solved, the mount being such that numbers are arranged in each of the eight or more triangles, except some parts, and the two or more pieces of limit information can be satisfied by numbers in a triangle with no numbers arranged in it; and an output section configured to output the problem mount information. Using the puzzle output device, an expandable puzzle game can be provided.
