OFDM modulator, OFDM demodulator and data frame synchronization method thereof

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OFDM modulator which makes up a data frame as one processing unit of transmission channel coding, in a transmission system using Reed-Solomon (204, 166) coding, and performs data frame synchronization by identifying the head of data frame, and to provide an OFDM demodulator and a data frame synchronization method.SOLUTION: An OFDM modulator 1 and its data frame synchronization method make up a data frame of 8 data packets from 7 TS packets, so that the number of TS packets per a super frame constituted of a predetermined number of data frames becomes an integer, and perform synchronization control of data frame. An OFDM demodulator 20 and its data frame synchronization method extracts 8 data packets from a predetermined data frame, so that the number of TS packets per a super frame constituted of a predetermined number of data frames becomes an integer, and reconstitute 7 TS packets of this 8 data packets.
