Protection channel utilization with individual subcarrier scaling in OFDM communication environment

This concept relates to the use of radio channels. An example may identify a channel for communicating data. This channel may include a set of subchannels ranging from the low frequency side adjacent channel to the high frequency side adjacent channel. This example is such that an individual subchannel closer to either a lower frequency side adjacent channel or a higher frequency side adjacent channel than another individual subchannel has an amplitude lower than the amplitude of another individual subchannel. The data can be encoded on a set of subchannels of the channel.
