PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of a heat transfer pipe used in an underground heat exchange device capable of applying necessary and sufficient winding force when winding the heat transfer pipe around an outer circumferential part of a winding fixture made of reinforcing bar cage or the like and further capable of keeping a separation interval of the heat transfer pipe evenly.SOLUTION: When a heat transfer pipe 20 is wound around an outer circumferential part of a winding fixture 10 while the winding fixture 10 is rotated, the heat transfer pipe 20 cylindrically wound is mounted on a rotatable mounting table 30. The rotation of the mounting table 30 is controlled and a tension is applied to the heat transfer pipe 20. While the heat transfer pipe 20 is wound around the winding fixture 10, the heat transfer pipe 20 is fastened to the winding fixture 10. A suspension position of a winding fixture 10 by means of a suspension device (crane 50) is lowered and the heat transfer pipe 20 is wound around the substantially all outer circumferential part of the winding fixture 10.
