Water-erasable aqueous ink composition and aqueous pen using the same

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-erasable water-based ink composition excellent in shorthand writing property, water-erasability, fastness in dryness, and dry-up resistance and capable of obtaining a writing line improving light resistance.SOLUTION: The water-erasable water-based ink composition contains a sugar mixture and a pigment as a coloring material and the sugar mixture is contained in the composition both in a content of tetra-saccharides to nona-saccharides of 35 mass% or more based on the total amount of the sugar mixture and in a content of deca- or more saccharides or more of 45 mass% or less based on the total amount of the sugar mixture. The sugar mixture is contained in the composition in a content of 5-20 mass% based on the total amount of the water-erasable water-based ink composition.
