Nanoscale coordination polymeric nanoparticles for co-delivery of multiple therapeutic agents are disclosed. Multiple therapeutic agents include combinations of different chemotherapeutic agents, combinations of one or more chemotherapeutic agents and one or more nucleic acids, such as small interfering RNA (siRNA) or microRNA, A combination of or more chemotherapeutic agents and photosensitizers (ie, for use in photodynamic therapy) or multiple different siRNAs may be included.
