PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prediction method of tunnel microbarometric waves emitted from buffer construction with an opening of a train exit port, which is capable of easily and precisely predicting tunnel microbarometric waves emitted from the opening of the buffer construction.SOLUTION: Defining noise sources of tunnel microbarometric waves, which are measured outside of a tunnel, are: as a point single noise source positioned at the center of a buffer construction and at the center of the openings; and a point dipole noise source positioned at the center of the opening of the buffer construction. Using a waveform h of in-tunnel compression wave arrived at the tunnel exit as input, the magnitude of the point single noise source and the magnitude of point dipole noise source are determined from the h to thereby predict the tunnel microbarometric wave.
