PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ingredient detection device for performing ingredient control of food with high accuracy.;SOLUTION: An ingredient detection device 1 provided separately from a heating cooker is provided that comprises: an ingredient detection part 33 for detecting ingredients of food heated by the heating cooker; and a communication part for receiving a command from the heating cooker and transmitting ingredient information of the food detected by the ingredient detection part to the heating cooker.
