PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a value medium that can be recycled, reduced in cost, and improved in convenience for a user.;SOLUTION: A contactless IC card includes an n-bit subtraction register 14 in which a held value is read and rewritten by an opposite-side device which communicates by radio through a radio communication part 11; The subtraction register 14 has a rewrite limiting circuit which permits change of rewriting to a value smaller than a currently held value and inhibits change of rewriting to a value larger than the currently held value. Further, the subtraction register 14 holds the remaining number of times of reuse of the contactless IC card 1 with high-order m bits (mn) and holds the value that the contactless IC card 1 has with low-order (n-m) bits.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
