PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste treatment plant using a supercharger, capable of using part of gas supplied to a combustion furnace after rotating a turbine in a gas utilization apparatus, and appropriately controlling the quantity of gas to be supplied to the combustion furnace and that to be supplied to the gas utilization apparatus.SOLUTION: A waste treatment plant comprises: a combustion furnace; a supercharger including a compressor and a turbine connected to each other via a rotary shaft; a heat exchanger implementing heat exchange between flue gas discharged from the combustion furnace and oxygen-containing gas supplied from the supercharger; a gas utilization apparatus; a gas utilization line branched off from a combustion gas line connecting the turbine to the combustion furnace and extending to the gas utilization apparatus; a flow regulating valve; a rotation-speed regulation mechanism regulating the rotation speed of the rotary shaft; and a controller controlling the flow regulating valve and the rotation-speed regulation mechanism to operate, the controller correcting a flow of the oxygen-containing gas supplied to the combustion furnace to a target flow by controlling the flow regulating valve and the rotation-speed regulation mechanism to operate.
