PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient utilization method for illumination light by color change based on control of spectral distribution characteristics of illumination and spectral reflection characteristics of a color material, capable of achieving efficient utilization of illumination light, and of suppressing color change of a general color material in which a spectral reflective index changes gently.;SOLUTION: In an efficient utilization method for illumination light, preparations are preliminarily performed so that spectral distribution characteristics A of illumination and spectral reflection characteristics B of a color material respectively have comb teeth shapes similar to each other when a horizontal axis indicates a wavelength and a vertical axis indicates a spectrum intensity or a spectral reflective index. A phase difference between the spectral distribution characteristics A of illumination and the spectral reflection characteristics B of the color material is controlled to control stimulus values of human eyes to respective RGB sensors, calculated by multiplying a product of the spectral distribution characteristics A of illumination and the spectral reflection characteristics B of the color material by a spectral sensitivity of a sensor responsible for color sense of human eyes. By changing a mixture ratio of the three RGB stimulus values respectively controlled in such the way, color reflected on the human eyes is changed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
