Noise processing type image display apparatus and image display method in multi-wavelength image measurement

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus which performs image processing statistically advantageous to a high-S/N area and a low-S/N area, in multiwavelength image measurement which calculates physical quantity from intensity ratios of different wavelengths and displays an obtained ratio image on a display.SOLUTION: In ratio image measurement using an image sensor, when a measurement result is displayed on a display, a square root of a square-sum of S/N ratios of measurement values for each pixel is defined as an S/N index. Display luminance on the display is weighted by using the index as a parameter, thereby allowing scientific analysis of an object by quantitative determination statistically advantageous to a high-S/N area and a low-S/N area.
