PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow long pulling-out of an electric cable disposed in an electric cable excess length storage case at the time of assembling work with another electric cable, to prevent an electric cable length from being excessively long.SOLUTION: An electric cable excess length storage case comprises: a body having a J-shaped whole shape by combining a rectangle-shaped detour part with a linear part which is along the full length of a long side on one side of the detour part and in which one end side in the long direction is extended; and a lid. The body is a J-shaped tube body. In the body, an end face extending in the long direction of the linear part is opened, one end in the long direction surrounding an opening thereof is connected to one end of the lid through a hinge part. The opening is opened/closed in a single swing with the hinge part as a supporting point, the lid on a side opposite to the hinge part and the tip of the linear part of the body are provided with lock parts locked to each other, furthermore, a pulling-out port of a wire harness is formed in the tip of a long side on the other side of the detour part, a pulling-out port of the wire harness is formed along the full length of the lid, and at the time of assembling work for connecting the wire harness detoured and disposed in the inside through the pulling-out port with another wire harness, the wire harness in the inside can be pulled out together with the lid when opening and inclining the lid.
