PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantum interference device and atomic oscillator capable of adjusting optical components easily and with high accuracy, a method of manufacturing the atomic oscillator, and an electronic apparatus and mobile comprising such an atomic oscillator.SOLUTION: An atomic oscillator 1 comprises: a gas cell 31 in which metal atoms are encapsulated; a light emitting part 21 for emitting light which excites the metal atoms; a light detecting part 32 for detecting light passed through the metal atoms; optical components 41, 42 and 43 disposed on an optical path of light between the gas cell 31 and the light emitting part 21; and a holding member 5 including grooves 511, 512 and 513 which are engaged with the optical components 41, 42 and 43 in the state where the optical components 41, 42 and 43 are partially exposed, for holding the gas cell 31, the light emitting part 21, the light detecting part 32 and the optical components 41, 42 and 43.
