Provided is a feature data management system which makes it possible to retrieve feature data identifying locations in a dataset that have been modified, and a dataset processing history. Provided is a feature data management system which manages feature data for creating result data, characterized in that said system comprises: a process analyzing unit which extracts, as feature data of result data, processing content of a processing query, base data, and extraction conditions for extracting the base data, used to create the result data; a processing history hierarchy extraction unit which determines whether or not output data resulting from the execution of a processing query have been used as an input for another processing query, and if the output data have been used as an input for another processing query, increments a feature data modification count for the input data, and if the output data have not been used as an input for another processing query, sets the output data as the result data; and a feature data management unit which associates and stores the base data, the feature data, the result data, and the feature data modification count at the time the result data were created.
