PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and productive strontium apatite production method for obtaining high-purity apatite containing strontium, and a method for producing strontium apatite particulates suitable for coating use.SOLUTION: In a method for producing strontium apatite, strontium hydrogenphosphate is synthesized by mixing an aqueous solution containing a strontium salt with an aqueous solution containing a phosphate and then subjected to alkali treatment. In a method for producing strontium apatite particulates, strontium apatite obtained by the method for producing strontium apatite is subjected to wet dispersion treatment using a media mill.
