Steel cord, their preparation and a pneumatic tire using the same

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel cord capable of preventing degradation of fatigue resistance of a tire by securing a gap into which rubber can penetrate between steel filaments having a monofilament structure without deteriorating workability, to provide a method for producing the same, and to provide a pneumatic tire including the same.SOLUTION: The steel cord is made by aligning in parallel a plurality of steel filaments 1a-1f to which a crushing process is applied in a vertical direction at a fixed interval along a longitudinal direction of filaments without being stranded. Crushing-processed sites 2a, 2c, 2e in the steel filaments 1a,1c,1e are arranged with spaces in a longitudinal direction of filaments from crushing-processed sites 2b, 2d, 2f in the neighboring steel filaments 1b,1d,1f.
