DOCUMENT SEARCH SYSTEM, DEBATE SYSTEM, AND DOCUMENT SEARCH METHOD

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a technique whereby it is possible to search a document for reference information that is useful when taking one side of a debate about a certain discussion topic. The document search system according to the present invention is provided with a value promotion/suppression table which describes the association between values and events that promote or suppress the values, wherein the document search system determines consistency between an article and the association described by the value promotion/suppression table, on the basis of the association and a positive phrase or a negative phrase used by the article with respect to the values (see Fig. 1).
