An object of the present invention is to provide an osteoclast differentiation inhibitor which is a long-term administration originating from a natural product and has a high effect. Another object of the present invention is to provide a prophylactic and therapeutic agent for a bone resorption-related disease that is long-term and originated from natural products. It was found that the cyclic peptide derived from flax suppresses the RANKL signal necessary for osteoclast differentiation and suppresses differentiation from bone marrow myeloid cells to osteoclasts. By using those cyclic peptides as active ingredients, it is possible to provide foods and beverages and pharmaceuticals for the purpose of prevention and treatment of conditions and diseases related to bone resorption such as osteoporosis.
