PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for an oil-based ball-point pen exhibiting a favorable writing resumption performance in a dried-up state and an oil-based ball-point pen using the same.;SOLUTION: The provided ink composition for an oil-based ball-point pen is an ink composition for an oil-based ball-point pen consisting at least of a coloring agent, an organic solvent, and 1,2-alkanediol. The 1,2-alkanediol is pasty within a 25°C environment.
