A composite photocatalyst, a manufacturing method thereof, the kits including the composite photocatalyst, and a bactericide photocatalyst. A composite photocatalyst includes photocatalyst nanocrystals and platinum nanocrystals. The photocatalyst nanocrystals include a compound represented by the following chemical formula (1):A²⁺(B³⁺)₂X₄  chemical formula (1),wherein A²⁺ represents Zn²⁺, Cu²⁺, Fe²⁺, Mn²⁺, Ni²⁺, Co²⁺ or Ag₂²⁺; B³⁺ represents Fe³⁺, Mn³⁺ or Cr³⁺; and X represents O²⁻.
