An industry demand-response control system of an aspect of the invention has an energy supplying facility, installed in an industrial installation, that supplies electrical energy and non-electrical energy, a production facility, installed in the industrial installation, that uses electrical energy and non-electrical energy to produce a product, and a facility controller that, in response to increasing and increasing the quantity of the product produced by the production facility, controls the proportion between the electrical energy and the non-electrical energy, wherein the facility controller performs control to convert the non-electrical energy that becomes surplus by reducing the quantity of product produced in response to a suppression request from an electricity provider to either supplement the electric power that is reduced or to sell, and to supplement the insufficient electrical energy caused by an increase in the amount of product produced by either stored electric power or purchased electric power.
