The server determines that a response to the state is expected and that it will be one of a finite number of possible responses. The server then generates one or more additional states using at least one possible response in the finite set of possible responses and sends the additional state (s) to the client. In some implementations, the server sends the additional state when the response is actually received. however, in other implementations, the server sends the additional state as it is generated and the client displays it when a user input equal to the response is received.
