1/1 summary “system and method of using spatially independent subsets of data to determine uncertainty of noninfluence uncertainty of spatially correlated reservoir data property distributions” a system and method, implemented in a computer, to determine uncertainty non-biasing of uncertain data from spatially correlated reservoir data property distributions are provided: the method includes inputting uncertain data into a plurality of spatial locations in a grid into concrete data in a plurality of locations along paths wells that intersect the grid. each concrete data location is placed with uncertain data values of one or more types. the method additionally includes calculating, using the computer, a concrete data variogram and creating independent subsets of concrete data using the variogram and the uncertain data values that are put together with each of the concrete data location; applying, using the computer, a bootstrap process to each of the plurality of independent concrete data subsets to obtain a plurality of bootstrap data sets from each of the plurality of independent concrete data subsets; calculate non-biasing historiographies of uncertain data for each of the plurality obtained from bootstrap data sets using a binary decision tree and the uncertain data placed; and characterize the uncertainty of the non-influence historiographs of uncertain data.
