Cabazitaxel and its use for treatment of metastatic prostate cancers The present invention relates to the compound having the following formula: (i), which may be in a base form or as a a hydrate or solvate, and in combination with prednisone or prednisolone, for use in the treatment of hormone refractory castration-resistant or metastatic prostate cancer in patients without risk of developing gastrointestinal disorders from the group consisting of: bleeding and gastrointestinal perforation, gastritis, enterocolitis, neutropenic enterocolitis, colitis, intestinal obstruction, and ileum.
