New copolymers are described here, next to the infrared absorbing acetal thermally reactive with physical and chemical changes when the radiation exposure to near infrared.Also described are the methods of preparation of the new acetal copolymers, starting with polymers of vinyl alcohol or with copolimeros acetal.Also described are methods of use of the new copolimeros acetal of near infrared absorption in the coatings used in offset lithographic printing plates that can be directly transformed into image with devices of image formation of the next of the laser infrave Rmelho in computer technologies and digital offset printing plates.The new acetal copolymers are also useful in applications of photo resistance, rapid prototyping of printed circuit boards and development of chemical sensors.
