In the present invention, there is disclosed a rotor spinning machine comprising a yarn (2) producing spinning unit (1), a yarn (2) quality and presence sensor (3) being connected with a machine workstation control unit (6), by means of which a yarn (2) draw-off mechanism (4) is also controlled, a yarn (2) intermediate bin, and a winding-up motion (5), in the winding arms (53) of which is mounted a bobbin (52) that bears during winding on a driving roller (51), wherein said winding arms (53) are coupled with a lifting mechanism (54) being connected with a machine workstation control unit (7). The spinning unit (1) comprises a fiber strand (20) feed mechanism (11), to the inlet of which, there is assigned a separating device (12) being followed up with separated fibers (21) transportation channel (131) opening into the spinning rotor (140). The spinning rotor (140) consists of a bilaterally open rotor provided with a separate drive integrated into a magnetic bearing (146), which is arranged along with the drive and the spinning rotor (140) in a spinning unit (1) lift-off cover (14), from which the spun yarn (2) is withdrawn by a draw-off funnel (144). The spinning rotor (140) is mounted within a vacuum chamber (16) being coupled by means of a vacuum channel (161) with a vacuum source, wherein the magnetic bearing (146) and the integrated spinning rotor (140) drive are connected with the control unit (7). A hinged cover (14) of the spinning unit (1) is coupled with means (151) for at least partial automatic tilting for automatic sucking of the yarn (2) end into the vacuum channel (161) outside the edge of an inlet opening (142) of the spinning rotor (140) as well as for automatic closing of the cover (14) for interruption of the yarn (2) by the circumference of the spinning rotor (140) inlet opening (142), which is controlled by the control unit (6). The cover (14) can be hinged to fully open position for optional manual cleaning of the spinning rotor (140) or for the replacement thereof by attendance.
