The present invention relates to a fuel based on waste consisting of shells of oil palm kernels of manufacture of oil from oil palm pericarp, wherein the invention is characterized in that the fuel contains 95.00 to 99.98 percent by weight of solid waste of the oil manufacture from oil palm pericarp, 0.01 to 4.99 percent by weight of combustible admixtures or additives based on plants or vegetable products and 0.01 to 1.00 percent by weight of incombustible admixtures or additives. At the same time the fuel exhibits up to 7 percent by weight moisture, and a fraction of particles, which pass through a mesh with eye size 4.5 mm is at the most 6 percent by weight of and weight ratio of particles, which do not pass through a mesh with eye size 16 mm, is zero.
