A method of manufacturing products containing nitrates from undercooled melts

When manufacturing products containing nitrates (fertilizers, industrial products) from undercooled melts, the XN aqueous solution is dried to the content of 50 to 99.8% of XN weight. The X is one or more atoms selected from the group consisting of Ca, Mg, NH4, Na and K; the N is a nitrate. The preferred range of the XN is 70 to 99.5% of weight. The melt is cooled to the crystallization point or lower, and this temperature is maintained. Then the finely crushed solid XN powder consisting of equilibrium phases is added to the melt and, subsequently, melt drops are formed, which are left to be cooled and solidified within 70 seconds. For the solidification of the particles, it is preferred to use a cooling belt. The belt is cooled by air, water, oil or another medium.
