The subject of the invention is the method of obtaining soluble salts of precious alkali metals of Li, Rb and Cs from silicate minerals, wherein the mineral and/or the mineral mixture is added to the limestone of the raw material mixture for burning the Portland clinker prior to its grinding as a solid or partial substitute of the silicate and/or iron correction in an amount of 0.5 to 35% by weight, related to the weight of CaO contained in the raw material mixture for the burning of the Portland clinker, whose burning to the Portland clinker is performed in a cement kiln equipped with a chloride bypass and precalcinator. Together with the combustion products heating the cement kiln and the precalcinator, chlorine is fed in in a molar ratio of at least 1: 1 related to the sum of the alkali metals extracted from the raw material mixture for the burning of the Portland clinker, in order to ensure the transfer of the alkali metals from the raw material mixture for the burning of the Portland clinker to chloride dusts discharged by the chloride bypass from the cement kiln, wherein up to 60% of the total amount of chlorine is fed to the cement kiln precalcinator at a temperature not exceeding 1000°C.
