Natural additive for use as an additive in feed for animals, containing natural and / or identical to natural active substances, comprising polyphenol components from plant materials and any botanical elements from the saponin-containing sources, any mineral antioxidants, probiotics if any, as well as optionally conventional adjuvants or additives. The additive is characterized in that it mainly consists of polyphenol plant materials, and that it is used in small dosages of 10 to 3000 ppm calculated as dry matter of plant elements. The additive can advantageously be used as additives in feed for livestock, improving the production parameters, and the general health of the animals.
