Anchor for closing a window with a bracket (3) for mounting on a frame and a movable part (7) for mounting on the window frame, the bracket (3) comprising a foot (11), a bracket frame (15) and a bracket tap (17) on the bracket stem (15). The pin (17) has a free end (17a) spaced from the bracket stem (15) and an abutment surface (45). The movable part (7) comprises a mounting part (19), a connecting part (29) which can pivot about a hinge point (33) relative to the mounting part (19) and an arm (39) with a cam (41) at another hinge point (43) is hinged to the connecting part (29). The arm (39) is adapted to pivot the cam (41) for abutment against the abutment surface (45) in a defined closing position.
