The method of extracting methane from coal seams involves the creation of acoustic, electrical, mechanical and hydrodynamic compressive-tensile stresses by applying periodic short pulses produced by the explosion of a calibrated conductor placed in the working interval of an oscillating source well, whose energy is supplied to the coal seam. At the same time in the well create a slit perforation, oriented along the directions of the main stresses in the coal seam create an additional slit perforation in the permeable coal-bearing rocks, and the direction of the additional slit perforation is oriented along the directions of the main stresses containing the coal seam reinforcing acoustic and hydrodynamic cavitation of bubbles gas emitted from coal, cracks, microcracks, pores, micropores, capillaries, coal bed microcapillaries, as well as cracks and microtraps the formation of permeable coal-bearing rocks. The technical result of the proposed method is to increase coal methane production, reduce energy costs, improve safety and environmental friendliness of the process.
