The present invention relates to compounds of the formula I, wherein the compounds are inhibitors of the enzyme BACE1. Certain aspects of the present invention relate to pharmaceutical compositions containing these compounds, and to the use of compounds for treating disorders in which the reduction of Aβ deposits, such as Alzheimer's disease, is beneficial.
