摘要

This procedure relates to design, development and application of an Alignment Fixture for Drilling and Riveting of mounting structure for Nitrogen Cylinder on Hawk Aircraft. This is to eliminate conventional method of drilling and riveting of the mounting structure, which is not giving the desired result. The location of the mounting structure is at forward of Frame-13, port side comprising of lower diaphragm and two channels to facilitate assembly of Nitrogen Cylinder as per . engineering drawing requirements. There are two Hydraulic Systems on Hawk Aircraft for the supply of power to all major and minor Control Surfaces. In the event of power failure on the aircraft, emergency power supply arrangement takes over to facilitate aircraft landing. Nitrogen cylinder is part of the emergency landing System since, it is used for operating power brake during emergency landing of aircraft.
