Previously I derived relation between length of an object and it"s shadow length by moving a light source in semicircular path and kept a nail or opaque at rest position in center of semicircular path but I now deduce the relation of length of an object and it"s shadow length by moving opaque from light source in rest position.second method was dueto following incidence ie on 19/04/2015 I moved away from light source at road of Vridhachalam, cuddalore district, Tamilnadu)lndia the shadow of mine increased as long as I recede from light source this incidence pave way to second method to find relation between length of an object and it"s shadow length.ie shadow length is directly proportional to distance of opaque from light source.
