System and method for enabling entities to comply with laws governing them are provided. The system (100) includes a database (102) and a logic controller (104). The database (102) may be configured to store information corresponding to a list of tasks derived from a plurality of laws and a set of rules based on which each of the tasks from the list of tasks is assignable for performance. The logic controller (104) may be configured to receive information corresponding to an entity. The logic controller (104) may further verify whether one or more tasks are assignable to the entity based on the received information and the set of rules.
