The present invention provides a robotic flapping wing mechanism mimicking a real bird (Seagull) which can independently control each of its two wings along with all wing joints. This leads to a highly agile and maneuverable UAV giving it special control features never before available in this class of flapping wing UAVs. The mechanism consists of structural components made of carbon fiber, acrylic and other light weight yet strong material. Electronics consisting of digital servos, an on-board microcontroller and batteries give the UAV its characteristic independent control ability.
