The present invention relates to the development of IcCo-bascd high induction soft magnetic amoiphous alloys. It particularity relates to the preparation of rapidly solidified iron-cobalt based alloys with high saturation induction and soft magnetic properties. Recently, Fc-based soft magnetic alloys showed saturation magnetic flux density within the ranges of 1.24 - 1-.58T, however, their Curie temperatures and thermal stability are very low. it restricts their applications at high temperature. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the new high induction alloys with the combinations of superior soft magnetic properties and high temperature magnetic properties. This invention will be useful for application in transformer core.
